Privacy policy

Last updated 14 October 2026

PromptRankings is an AI visibility tool built and run from Sydney, Australia. This policy explains what personal information we collect through promptrankings.com, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.

What we collect

Your email address, if you join the waitlist. We don't ask for your name or anything else.

Basic request data, such as your IP address, browser and the pages you request. Our hosting provider records this automatically in server logs, which are used for security and troubleshooting.

The site doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies.

How we use it

We use your email address only to tell you when early access to PromptRankings opens. That email will include a way to unsubscribe. We never sell your information or share it with anyone for their own marketing.

Where it's stored

The site is hosted by Vercel and waitlist emails are stored in a database run by Supabase. Their servers are in the United States and South Korea, so your information is stored outside Australia. Both providers only process it on our behalf and protect it with encryption in transit and at rest.

How long we keep it

We keep your email address until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, or until the waitlist is no longer needed, whichever comes first.

Your choices

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted at any time by emailing hello@promptrankings.com. If you're unhappy with how we've handled a request, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page. If a change affects how we use your email address, we'll tell you by email first.
